Delete your account
You can delete your ChargeIndex account and all associated data at any time. An account is optional — the map, charging-station search and route planning all work without signing in. An account is only used to sync your saved vehicles (your "garage") across devices.
Delete online
To confirm it is really you, we ask you to sign in once. Right after sign-in your account and all associated data are removed immediately.
Online deletion is being set up. In the meantime, please use one of the options below.

Your account has been deleted
Your account and all associated data have been permanently removed. If email confirmation is enabled, you will receive a short confirmation message.
The app itself keeps working without an account. You can close this page.
Something went wrong
We couldn't complete the request.
Your account was not deleted. You can try again, or use one of the alternatives below.
In the app
Open ChargeIndex and tap the account icon in the top-left corner. In the account panel, scroll to the bottom and tap „Konto löschen" (Delete account), then confirm. Your account and all associated data are removed immediately and permanently.
By request (without the app)
Email support@chargeindex.eu from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
Deletion permanently removes your account (your identity / sign-in at our identity provider) and your saved vehicles (your "garage"). No personal account data is retained afterwards. Aggregated, non-personal usage statistics that cannot be linked to you are not affected.
